12-Hour Wet Reckless Program (SB1176)
About the Wet Reckless Program
The Wet Reckless program is an alcohol awareness class designed for those who have been convicted of reckless driving with a blood alcohol level of less than. 08 or who have had a conviction amended to a wet reckless charge. This is a violation found in California vehicle code 23103.5. Generally, courts will order a 12-hour program, otherwise known as an SB1176. This is the shortest program for first-time offenders.
Twin Palms is committed to providing convenient and affordable program for those in need of DUI educational programs. Our Wet and Reckless program requires participants to attend an orientation session as well as an individual registration interview. These are followed by six educational insight classes and a final face-to-face interview. Remote telehealth services and Zoom classes are available.Enrolling in a Wet Reckless Class
We offer classes at location La Puente at convenient times five days per week, including evenings and Saturdays. Twin Palms also has classes for Spanish speaking participants. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions about the program. Upon registration, we will electronically file your enrollment with the DMV.
To enroll, please visit our location and register for the SB1176 program – just be sure to bring the relevant paperwork with you. You’ll need one of the following documents: a referral from the court or a Public Driving Record from the California DMV that reflects the required program. You’ll also need to bring your enrollment fee in order to register.
You’ll receive all the details about your program when you enroll. As per California state law, you must begin your program within 21 days of enrollment unless you qualify for a leave of absence with documentation.
