About the 6-Month DUI First Offender Program
The 6-Month First Offender or AB762 program is a court-ordered DUI program generally for those who have been found guilty of a DUI for the first time within a 10-year period and with a blood alcohol level of 0.2 or higher. Under these conditions, a judge will usually require, among other conditions, a 6-month DUI first offender program.
As a committed DUI group facilitator and education leader, Twin Palms provides the highest quality DUI first offender program classes that are both convenient and affordable. Our 6-month program is similar to the 3-month program, requiring participants to attend an orientation session and an individual registration interview. The majority of the program involves six educational classes and 15 group sessions, as well as two 30-minute individual interviews. Once you’re in, we electronically file your enrollment with the DMV. DUI programs take place five days a week at our three locations, and as always, we serve
Spanish speaking clients as well. Simply bring a referral from the court or a Public Driving Record from the California DMV stating the requirement for a 6-month DUI first offender program and we will be able to register you on the spot. Registration also requires payment of the enrollment fee.
Once you’re in, we electronically file your enrollment with the DMV. Program activities take place six days a week at our La Puente locations. For your convenience, you can choose daytime, evening, or Saturday program activities. At Twin Palms, we want to make sure you have every opportunity to satisfy your court-ordered DUI program requirements and get back on track.
In general, you must begin your program within 21 days of enrollment. You’ll receive all the details of your program upon your enrollment.
